History

Our Church

The humble beginnings of the church date back to June 2011 when a few CSI (Church of South India) families in Brisbane prayed together with the vision to form the church. Through the divine providence of the Lord Almighty the church hopes to cater the spiritual needs of the Malayalam speaking community in Brisbane. The church was registered as an Incorporated Association with Fair Trading Queensland with 10 families in May 2012. The church has been also registered with ACNC as a Not-for-Profit charity organization from April 2019.

The Holy Trinity CSI Church in Brisbane is affiliated to the Central (Madhya) Kerala Diocese. It follows the traditions and practices of the Church of South India. The Worship Services were held at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Woolloongabba from September 2011 to April 2014 and at Eastern Hills Anglican Church, Camp Hill from April 2014 to Nov 2019. The community is currently worshipping at Christ Church Anglican Church, Milton. The Holy Communion service in Malayalam is held at 10 am every Sunday. We have Sunday school classes at 09:00 am on Sundays prior to the Church Service. The Choir meets every Sunday after the service for practice. We have an active Youth and Women’s Fellowship to nourish church life.

The doors are wide open to anyone who would like to build a strong and lasting relationship with the church. Please take time to sign the Guest Book and let us know that you have visited us.
